The Constitution Academy is an intensive online course aimed at giving participants an introduction to key constitutional principles and comparative practice related to constitutional design and constitution-building processes.
The Myanmar Constitution Academy is a flagship initiative of the MyConstitution Programme, run by International IDEA from 2018 to 2022, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Luxemboug Aid and Development, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, and Sweden. This course is now implemented through the new Building Federal Democracy in Myanmar programme (2023-2024), funded by Finland, Luxemboug and Norway.

International IDEA’s Myanmar Youth Democracy Academy is a free online self-guided training course that offers fundamental knowledge of democracy. The course is designed to ensure that the public and particularly young people from Myanmar are equipped with the civic knowledge and skills needed to effectively participate in, and contribute to, the consolidation and strengthening of democracy in the country.

To access the online course, you first need to sign up on the talent LMS platform. To do that, follow the steps below:
1. click on the following link: https://apmyanmar.lms.idea.int/index
2. click on ‘Get this course (သင်တန်းတက်ရောက်ရန်)’
3. click a course that you want to learn
4. click on ‘get this course’
5. click on ‘Signup’ and fill in the different tabs (first name, last name, email address, username, password) and then click on ‘Create account’
6. Go to your mailbox. You will receive an automatic email with a hyperlink. Click on the hyperlink to confirm your talentLMS user account. You are now ready to start the Myanmar Constitution Academy online course
To start the Myanmar Constitution Academy online course:
1. go on the following link https://apmyanmar.lms.idea.int/index
2. click on ‘LOGIN’ on the top right of the page, type your username or email and password, and then click on login.
3. On the homepage, click on ‘get your first course’ button.

5. click on ‘get this course’ and then on ‘start course’
To complete the Myanmar Constitution Academy online course, learners need to complete all modules, listen to all recorded presentations, and pass all quizzes. After finishing one unit, click ‘complete and continue’ at the bottom of the page to move to the next unit.
You can go through the Myanmar Constitution Academy online course at your own pace. Progress made on the course is saved automatically. To resume the course, you can just log in again on the platform and resume the course where you stopped.

Yes, you can learn this course with a mobile device. You get access with the mobile device;
1. download the talentLMS app on playstore (for android users) or apple store (for iphone users)
2. Open the App and then add ‘apmyanmar.lms.idea.int’ in the server box, then click NEXT

There are multiple units in the courses with different themes. Each module is composed of pre-recorded video lectures, quizzes, and additional reading materials. Although you can click 'complete and continue' to proceed with lectures and reading, you must pass all the quizzes to be able to proceed next units. You can check the contents of the course by clicking the 'Course' and all contents are available in both English and Myanmar languages.
